((Okay so, like me, you lot are probably all losing your minds over this 50th Anniversary trailer, right? Right.
So, to pass the time while we wait, I took the details confirmed from
what was shown from the Comic-Con footage and basically fleshed it out
to make my own sort of shot-for-shot transcript of (a) 50th Anniversary
trailer. It’s by no means official, just something I myself constructed
with the details from the Comic-Con trailer. So…yeah. If you guys enjoy
it, then great! I hope the actual trailer turns out to be something like
this!
Oh…and possible SPOILERS. Maybe…who knows…))
DOCTOR WHO: 50TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL TRAILER:
Trailer Music: Audiomachine - Helios
-SCENE 1: The trailer opens on Gallifrey at the height of the Time
War as John Hurt’s Forgotten Doctor looks on at the full-blown carnage
scarring the skies and surface of the planet. Legions of Daleks are
shown leading an all-out assault on the Citadel, which is burning down
in flames.
-Forgotten Doctor: “They say that great man are forged in fire. And
no fire burned longer, brighter, stronger, than the fire that consumed
two of the mightiest races in the universe."
-SCENE 2: In the middle of it all stands the Forgotten Doctor, looking resolute.
-Forgotten Doctor: “Who am I? I am the one who lit the flames. The one who broke the promise. I am the Doctor."
ON NOVEMBER 23RD, 2013
-SCENE 3: The Eleventh Doctor stands by (his) TARDIS console, looking forlorn, as Clara watches him with a concerned expression.
-Eleventh Doctor: “I’ve had many faces. Many lives. I don’t admit to all of them."
-SCENE 4: Eleven walks down a darkened TARDIS corridor, the atmosphere haunting.
-Eleventh Doctor: There’s one life in particular I’ve tried very hard to forget.”
-SCENE 5: In a city-type surrounding, the Forgotten Doctor turns to
face the Tenth Doctor, who is flanked by Rose Tyler. The two Doctors eye
each other coldly, apathetically.
-Tenth Doctor: “Hello again."
HIS GREATEST SECRET
-SCENE 6: Rose confronts the Forgotten Doctor, her eyes pleading.
-Rose Tyler: “The moment’s comin’, you know…"
-SCENE 7: The Forgotten Doctor nods.
-Forgotten Doctor: “Yes. And I am ready for it."
HIS DARKEST DAY
-SCENE 8: Ten and Eleven, both bruised, bloodied, and looking battle-ready, stand in front of 76 Totter’s Lane, ready to fight.
-Tenth Doctor: “Allons-y!!"
-Eleventh Doctor: “Geronimo…"
-SCENE 9: Kate Stewart, Osgood, and a squad of UNIT personnel look on
as the TARDIS is being airlifted to Trafalgar Square with Eleven
hanging down from it.
IT’S ALL LED UP TO THIS
-SCENE 10: Inside (a) console room, Ten approaches Eleven, who is lost in thought.
-Tenth Doctor: “You know, for once, I’d like to have at least /some/ idea of where I’m going…"
-SCENE 11: Quick shots of:
• A mysterious light sort of energy beginning to consume the Earth.
• Ten grabbing the Forgotten Doctor by his jacket threateningly.
• A small army of Zygons, roaring animalistically as they break free
from what appear to be holding tubes in a laboratory-type setting.
• Clara, riding Eleven’s anti-grav motorcycle, stops short and wipes out, crashing the bike.
• A squadron of Daleks feverishly opening fire on some sort of battlefield.
• Eleven, having fallen to his knees, screams out in horror, tears running down his face.
-SCENE 12: Eleven turns to Ten, smiling slightly.
-Eleventh Doctor: “Trust me. You really wouldn’t…"
-SCENE 13: In a shot very much reminiscent of him looking down on
Trenzalore for the first time in “The Name of the Doctor", Eleven throws
open the TARDIS doors and gazes ahead, his expression that of
uncertainty.
DOCTOR WHO: 50TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL
-?? (Forgotten Doctor?): “I’m looking for the Doctor."
-SCENE 14: The camera pans from Clara and Rose looking behind
themselves to show Ten and Eleven standing nonchalantly by (a) TARDIS
console. Ten shrugs.
-Tenth Doctor: “Well, you’ve certainly come to the right place…"
